Removed front center console drawer

I like it a lot better. I know it just makes a couple inches more room but it seems like a lot more. Plus the wires aren't getting a work out every time you open the drawer.

No other pics sorry. I just went to a cabinet shop an they had a scrap piece of cherry that was 12 in wide. They ran it threw the plainer an got it down to 1/2 inch thick, it was about 3 ft long an it's a good thing because I screwed up a couple times. The piece is kinda pie shaped. I screwed some short pieces of 1x2 inside the cabinet to screw the board to. I used some stainless screws because that's what I had. I'm going to get some black screws an it will look better. When I take screws out I'll take some pics of back side so you can see what I'm talking about. It was farely easy I'm no carpenter. I put two coats of clear gloss polyurethane on the cherry, it does not really match the plastic but is pretty close to the woodwork in the coach. I kinda like it.

You can find these fold up holders at most any camping or auto parts store.

This is what WRV used on '08's when the factory version came w/no drawer. Swings out from the face of the (now stationary) console. If you are remodeling, you can take your pick of spots on the console face, up high or down low.

I like that idea. I will give this project some thought.
