Right Rear Jack cylinder leaking

Hello
I just purchased a project coach. But price was right and the engine I wanted! The first issue I am not sure where to start is the right rear jack is and has been leaking for years on the coach based on repair records. It has been in and out of the shop for leaks on the right rear 5 times since new in 2003. It is leaking on the large hose to cylinder that mounts horizontal in the battery compartment front wall. The leak is right at the hose connection. Do these hoses go bad? I am looking for the best way to attempt to resolve this problem.

Thanks
Steve

Found another thread on exactly this topic. I will refer to it for guidance. What a great resource this forum is.

Thanks
