You likely have a leak in a hydraulic hose. Look for fluid on or near hoses.

First thing is to check the pump fluid level. Sounds like you have post some. Look for oil on the hydraulic hoses and pistons.

Frank:

The pump will continue to run if the reservoir runs out of fluid. Close up the slides, raise the jacks and check the level. I think you'll find it just under 2 quarts low.

After you refill it, put down the jacks and then send the slides out. Run each slide for 20-30 seconds longer than needed. This will force extra air out of the hose and back to the tank.

The next time the slides are in and jacks up, top the tank.

Low fluid will also cause the slides to creep out on occasion. Be sure to hold the button down for 5-10 extra seconds when retracting. This builds up the pressure to "hold" them in.

Regarding the slide slipping out a couple of inches, occasionally.

If all of the above has been done and you have no hydraulic leaks...then the leak is internal. Fairly easy fix.

The slide Hydraulic Solenoid Valve (one of several mounted by the pump) is bypassing. They retail for about $190 at HWH....plus labor unless your handy and can manover in that access bin.
