S-Video

this has to be really simple, on my 2006 Apex, when I go to the display of the Silverleaf functions on the TV screen, I get "s-video, no signal". I have shut off all power and restarted the system, read everything in every manual and cannot find how to restore the signal, or even where to look.

thanks

This happened to me on our 06 Apex a few years back. The Silverleaf black box mounted behind the TV had a cable viberate loose. Once I found it it was a easy fix.

The S-Video cable is a 4-pin Mini-Din (looks a bit like a PS/2 Mouse only 4 instead of 5 pins)

Use the INPUT button on the remote (A/V it may say) to get it off that screen if you have to.

S-Video is "Seperated Video" the 4 wires are Chroma, (Color info) Luma (Intensity info) and Ground Ground. First place I saw it was on Commodore 64 and Atari computers.

Check the connections both at the Silverleaf box and the TV. Also note that there are two s-video connections on the Silverleaf box. If all else fails, try the other connection.
