When reaching into the service bay, with out looking closely at what I was doing, to open a Smart Bed, I pushed the black tank dump valve. While it wasn't a disaster, I didn't want to repeat it. I made this switch "safety" cover out of a scrap of aluminum.

I like your idea as I have a 2007 Limited SE 36MDDS and I have make the same mistake. I also added another dump valve (manual) where it comes out below these switches as I found out that you can get a suprise when you take off the cap and the long dump pipe hasn't been properly drained. Both my tanks are on the P/S and have a long pipe to get to the D/S dump station.

I have the same unit, it is a design from HELL. Takes forever to drain!

ol pole,

Sounds like you have either a restriction or one of the valves is not opening all of the way. Mine dumps plenty fast. I do find that I need to use the flush system a long time to get all of the "junk" out.
