San Antonio RV Shop

I have a friend that just bought a 2005 40 ft coach in San Antonio. He wants to have a mechanic inspect the coach. Does anyone know of a good honest shop in the San Antonio area? Thanks Hax

I have had good luck with Ancira in Boerne, even though they did not sell my make of coach.
Also Wagners on Potranco Road has treated me well and fairly.
Summit Automotive on Bandera Road also has a good RV mechanic that is very knowledgeable, and their prices are good as well.

This is another vote for Iron Horse RV. I trust them. They're are good people, with skill.

I know people speak highly of Iron Horse RV and they have earned USAA certification as a repair facility but my personal experience has been mixed. When things go wrong with a repair, they get real scarce--perferring to have the desk clerk deal with you. They are probably a good place for yr inspection purposes but I'd recommend you follow any repair process with regularity--and making sure any/all costs are stated up front.

We have had really good service from Womack Diesel and RV Service in Seguin. He did maintenance work for us, and replaced the radiator. Friends of ours go to him regularly. They appear to be laid back country folk, but they really seem to know what they are doing.
