I thought about piping an audio conection from my Dishnet receiver (in motion Sat) to the radio and subscribing to Serius, But unless I'm missing something, I would not have a display without the TV and my Sat remote would be my Serius "controller".
I like the idea of one subscription fee for all Sat recievers and no head units, but it doesn't seem very convenient for on-the-road use. ANd without the Genset running, that's a lot of equipment running off the inverter...
ANother idea was to replace my back-up monitor with a dash mounted Garmin 7200 GPS that closely matches the dimesions of the monitor and has a composite video input, which could be switched between camera and the Sat receiver for a more convenient (less power hungry) display.
The same GPS can be optioned for XM for a simpler solution too (without the benefit of single subscription for home and coach).
