ScanGaugeD & Alpines

Dashboard information on our 2003 FDDS with 400ISL & Allison 3000MH consists of very minimal gauges and some idiot lights on the "information bar." Has anyone installed the ScanGauge "D", and with what results - pro & con?

I've found other threads pertaining to the ScanGauge on IRV2, but nothing relating specifically to Alpine Coaches.

Thanks

I think you'll find that many (if not most - such as myself) are using the Silverleaf VMSpc product on a laptop. I really like the product. My brother-in-law has a 2000 Alpine Coach and has some dead dash gauges (from sitting too long in SD). He uses VMSpc to monitor the engine & tranny. Eventually he'll get the gauges working but VMSpc eliminates the temporary mystery. I believe it now supports the Microsoft Surface tablet with more to come.

I purchased mine from RV Upgrades for somewhere around $360 or so.

X2 on the Silverleaf, very customizable and easy to read. You can download the program for free (they charge for the cables to hook it up), download HERE.

I tend to use it more than the dash gauges,

X3 on the SilverLeaf, I have the 330 works great little more $$$$ well a lot more $$$$ but you can't go wrong with SilverLeaf. If I had it to do over I may have just got a new PC just for the coach and went that way.
