Hmmm, turn on the knob and you'll get water.

hehe

Seriously, what is wrong? Knob open and no flow? Or knob open and flow just all cold? Only the shower? Outside shower, sinks? Water heater on gas? Water heater on electric? Faucet turned on to trailer? Water pump on?

Need a LOT more than that.

Check outside wash station, I left faucets on but shower nozzle turned off and had hot water in both sinks but only lukewarm water in the shower.Turned off outside faucets and ....ta-da. Apparently this was letting the hot water mix with cold before it went to the shower.

Is it just the shower or no hot water in sinks?

If no hot water and hot water tank is working, the check valve on the back of the hot water tank is your best suspect. It happened to me & I re-installed the check valve without the "broken pieces". If you winterize with RV antifreeze you'll probably want to fix the valve.

More info needed. What type of RV? Do you have hot water anywhere? Does water flow out shower if ONLY the hot tap is on? Did you EVER have hot water in the shower? Do you have a water distribution 'manifold?' It would be a set of valves that branch hot and cold water to all the fixtures using water. If only the hot in the shower doesn't work, a manifold valve might be closed.

Several issues... IS it JUST the shower that has no hot?

or is it the entire bathroom, How about the kitchen

possible issues:
No hot water anywhere.. Heater off, defective no power, no fuel.
Hot some places, but not other, do get flow though,, Outside shower

NO FLOW: plumbing issue.

I agree Rich. I can't believe some people want to solve a problem that has not been defined or analyzed to some extent. I refuse to waste my time on this.

Sounds pretty straight forward to me. I think he would have posted that other places didn't have hot waster, if that was the case. Give him a break and don't scare him away. We're here to help.

I got an interesting call from a renter a few days ago- they had no hot water in the two bathrooms but had it at the kitchen sink. Turned out the single handle mixer valve on one shower had broken up inside & allowed cold to overrun the hot. They apparently couldn't tell by twisting the handle. Changed the valve out fora new one. Voila!

You haven't made the problem clear. When you try to turn on the hot water in the shower, do you get cold water, luke warm water, or no water at all?
