My 5.7 Shurflo pump (#4) just quit. It was working fine, while preparing the coach for my son and his wife who stayed in the coach during the Christmas holidays. I turned on the pump and it started then quit. I had to move the coach later that day and thinking maybe I had an air bubble, tried the pump again. When we turned the pump on it worked fine. Later that day when my son arrived and tried to use the water the pump quit again. I have 3/4 tank of water. ???? The water works fine when connected to city water, without pump.
Maybe it’s time to change brands of pump???

Rusty,

If yo can get to the pressure switch, try shorting it. If the pump continues to run, then that's the culprit.

Happy New Year

Sounds like you may have a air lock. Go to the faucet in the bathroom sink and open the facuet start the pump bleed the air and continue with all facuets and shower one at a time. Hope this helps works for me when the same thing happens

Good chance that the voltage to the pump is low. This can cause the pump to fail prematurely.
