Smart Bed Adjustment
Does anyone know if the Smart Bed slide mechanism can be adjusted side to side? One side is slightly higher than the other and is hitting ever so slightly under the dinette slide on the Apex upon closing. I thought I had seen a post on this but have had no luck finding it. Or do you think the bushings or slide rails need replaced? Thanks in advance for your help!

I think if you examine the brackets that hold the door onto the sliding box, you may find that they can be loosened,
and then adjust the position of the door in the opening

Thanks, Dudley Do Right. I will take a closer look. I was looking in the wrong place and that was the bolt arrangement on the side slide rail and couldn't figure out how that would do anything.

The whole side extends so you don't have to crawl under to get items. Instead you simply bend over. In fact, they even extend past the slideouts. I was asking how to adjust the front panel of what is affectionately called a Smart Bed. Thanks again!

Marca, your coach was not manufactured with the bed slides like that, I would suspect they have been hit or bent in some way. Before I tried to adjust them I would look closely for physical damage. When the slide is closed does the door look like it is not level? The other possibility is that you dinette slide ram needs adjusting. The slide may not be extending all the way.

I believe you can move the brackets that hold the rails on the high side to the chassis bulkheads down. Might have to slot the holes a bit.
