Recently, I have been getting a RED alert on two of the car tires even though the readings on the Silverleaf screen are within the limits:

Settings:
Yellow 25 psi/140 degrees Red 22 psi/165 degrees
Typical readout on the screen:
37 psi/107 degrees, 37 psi/109 degrees.

Any ideas how to make these annoying indicators go away?

Basil,

I have Smart Tire as well and have used the attached troubleshooting guide to help me. Don't know for sure if this will help you, but if it doesn't, I recommend you call Smart Tire in Richmond, BC, and ask their technicians. They have been helpful to me in the past. Their phone number is 604-276-9884.

If the pdf file didn't come through as an attachment on this new version of iRV2, here's the web link to that guide:

Greetings from Palm Springs where it is 91 degrees,

Silverleaf/Smart Tire is set up with group 0 being the front axel of the coach, group 1 is the rear axel of the coach and group 2 is the car. The two tires on the car that were giving me the alarm were set to group 0 (coach front) which has much higher alarm settings. Resetting them to group 2 will check against the correct alarm settings and my alarms should go away. I won't know for sure until we start moving east in a few weeks.
