Solar Battery Charging

I have a 45 watt Solar Power Kit from Harbor Freight. I am wondering if it would, just trickle charge (float), 8 - 6VDC 235AH batteries or am I wasting my time?

You will get 3 amps from the kit it would work fine as a trickle charger. I have same kit used it for 3 years on old RV. New rv just made cigarette plug and have one panel directly to the engine battery. It is only giving 1 amp at around 14 volts so I am happy it will keep the batery topped off.
