We have two 50 watt solar pannels. The roof, two pin connector (male and female) for the solar pannel has a broken pin. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement set (both halves)?

Dennis, If your 2 pin connector is like mine, you can buy them at NAPA or any automotive store that carries 12 volt wire connectors. Mine only came with a 10 watt panel for the chassis batteries, I think it's the same connector though.

John,

Thanks' for the post. I was also told this by a rv service center. Have checked with NAPA and they say that they do not have a connector like that supplied by WRV.

Dennis, have you tried Fry's electronics? Also you might try a truck parts supply store.

Might try full insulated disconnects and make your own ends. Then cover the connection w/appropriate diameter heat shrink tube, and maybe wrap the length of wire in split loom for UV protection.

There are 2 pole connectors available, you may find these GM/DELCO items usefull:
  • Carquest p/n TA745 -2 pole female shell
  • Carquest p/n TA746 -2 pole male shell
  • Carquest p/n TA739 -2 pole female socket
  • Carquest p/n TA740 -2 pole male pin
NAPA should be able to cross reference Carquest items.

Thank's for all the posts.

I solved the problem with a West Marine 12V 2 pin watertight deck plug #181867. This plug has a flange, which will mount to the roof. The connector screws together. The pins are polerized so you can not hook it up incorrectly.
