Speedo is occasionally erratic

I have a 2001 38ft FDDS Alpine that the Speedo stops working at times or reads wrong speed. If cruise control is on and i start to pull a hill, the speedo drops below 30 mph and drops cruise control . Speedo may or may not come back to true speed.

Welcome to iRV2.

Sounds like you might have a speed sensor problem on the transmission.
Do you have any issues with the trans shifting at the same time ; harsh shifting ? Or are the only systems in trouble speedo & cruise?
Do you have a touch pad shifter control?
Have you checked for any fault codes in the trans controller?
Do you happen to know your transmission series ? 3000? 4000?

Yah, that happens once in a while with mine. I pull over, turn the engine off and restart. That usually takes care of the problem.
