Speedometer Gauge in Reply to Engineer Mike

The speedometer was supplied to Alpine by Medallion Instrumenttion Systems. www.medallion . Spring Lake, Michigan. Apparently some of the guages supplied, were not good and gave up after a while. I finally called Medallion and they sent me a guage that has been ok. This was a few years back, before WRV went Kapoot. Hope this helps. On out last trip the tach gauge acted up but came back ok on its own. Been ok since. As you have probably discovered the guage is an easy r and/or r. I will post this on Alpine forum.

I think this is the correct address Medallion Instrumentation :: Warranty Support
However it appears they only do motorcycles now. My gauges are Stewart Warner (no longer in business) and Medallion probably supplied these to WRV.

John- thanks for the link. It triggered a thought which I managed to transcribe before it died of loneliness, and might lead to a method for service.
Will let y'all know if it does.

My mistake on e-mail address. I entered www.medallioninstrumentationsystems and then "contact us" and called them by phone. This was probably in 94 or 95 maybe earlier. They were very helpful and sent the new speedo guage no charge. Don't know about now.
Good luck. Be interesting to see results.
