Usually just like to read but just had a battery problem that I would like to share. After 10 days storage (chassis battery on, house off), could not start with either set. Golf cart gave enough juice for gen but not engine. Let run for hour - no success. Killed gen trying to start engine and could not restart. By jumping house to chassis, just got started so elect. could be reached. Next morning - nothing. Got started with two golf carts!!! My 2000 went for 2 months without ever a problem. Yes David D. 'older is better'. At 1800 miles, had to be towed due to broken fuel line. In the 4 months ownership, have had more serious problems than the total of 6 years that I owned the other. Guaranty in Indio is working on it now and the factory 'shows' concern. We'll let you know what happens.

Check all your gnd- cable connections,GEN,house batteries, converter, common GND post for muilti gnd's, to chassis frame and batteries the gnd side of DC ckt's just as important as your batt+ side. If you find any loose use a star washer when you remake connection. "007"

By the way welcome to irv2, Alpine Coach Forum

between dealer and WRV, they think and have replaced a solenoid. Time will tell. From other postings on this forum, it seems that it is not an unusual problem with Alpine.
