Steering Support Bracket

I recently purchased a 40' MDTS. Is there a list of VINs that require the steering support bracket modification?

Dan,
Simple answer to your question is "no".
WRV used several different set-ups for the steering bracket, depending upon the year model. A review of the thread on the brackets will tell you which bracket you have, how to tell if it has been fixed or needs fixin' and what the fix is. Have fun .

2004 and up require the steering bracket mod, unless your rig has the earlier type steering gear bracket made of 5/16" steel plate. The later models that need the mod have 1/4" steel plate & a different "box" design for the bracket.
