My step cover slide got jammed on something in the stair well.

I unjammed the slide, but the switch would not move the slide out or in. The motor works when the power leads are jumped. I have looked but have been unable to find where the fuse for the switch is located.

Anyone have a clue?

Reset your vasco system by shutting off the power switch in battery compartment.

Or unplug the power wire entering the cover drive motor. I've done both.

What year it your coach? Do you have the Vansco system? Are there any other things that now don't work (use the same fuse, if pre-Vansco)?

Vansco was not introduced until mid 2003 prior to the change WRV as well as many vehicle manufactures used miles and miles of wires. I have looked but I can not find the fuse.

The wiring circuit is going to have to be traced manually.

The wiring diagram I have was made prior to the electric step cover being installed on front door models.

My coach is late 2001 and doesn't have Vansco. I haven't found anything else that doesn't work. Still looking under the dashboard.

I recently noticed an inline glass-type fuse and holder tied into the "switched" lugs on a buss bar to the far left of the panel in front of the passenger. Still haven't determined where it goes. Maybe yours has the same thing. It is only a few inches from the buss before the wire continued through the firewall.
