Storing 2005 Alpine Dead Batteries

My question is while storing my 2005 Alpine coach is it best to have your chassis and house disconnects off leaving mine and I am having trouble with the batteries going dead after a couple weeks I have kept The batteries on a trickle charge also. Grateful for any help I can get

Is it plugged in? If it's plugged in I would just let the converter do it's job if it's at least a 3 stage charger.

If not plugged in and extended storage I suppose the disconnects would be the way to go.

When I store mine, I use the disconnects. This is even if plugged in when in storage. My storage only provides 10 amps of power however. If I had 30 amps, I would plug in and leave 'em on. Now, if you have solar and are having battery drain issues, do search of this forum, as several others have had problems with battery drain and discovered issues with the solar panel controller.

Several circuits [for both chassis and house batteries] are hooked directly to the bats, by-passing the main cut-off switches. The most obvious is the inverter [eviro-fan runs continuously on inverter]. Only sure way to ensure no drain/draw is to disconnect ground cable[s].

If you leave the coach plugged in, and still have flood cell batteries, be sure to check the water level at least once a month.

...will this before or after you disconnect or put your inverter in hibernate -- simplest stuff first....
