I will be replacing the rear tires on our 38 foot 2000 Alpine. Current tires are Goodyear 314 from the factory. Goodyear advises the 314 is a trailer tire and questions why they are on a motor home. Much discussion has occurred regarding various brands on this site. These tires have given 7 years of good service. Are there some valid reason to change brands. The dealer would not replace the tires with a G-314. I am also considering the Toyo tire which has given good service on my pickup which pulls the Alpenlite Augusta.
I am not looking for the least expensive tire just the best value. I think good tires are the best insurance against problems.
