surge protector

looking at a 2003 34' alpine and am wandering how I can determine if it came equipped with a power surge protector. I am only doing the looking by computer.

Mine did not come with a surge protector.

My early 03 did not--dont think surge protectors were std equip on Alpines until maybe 2006 or later. Most owners cured this with an aftermarket solutions like Progressive Industry or Surgeguard [either built-in or stand alone]. If this unit doesnt currently have a surge protector, its a relative inexpensive and easy fix.....
