To dump the air, without initiating automatic leveling, do you have to hold the HWH Dump swith until the all air has dumped, or is it a momentary switch?

Boring! That little switch takes forever! How about using the parking brake as a release or "pumping" the brake pedal? Then the air dump switch really takes it down. Make sure your wheels are straight.
The Alpine Coach does not have air brakes they are Hydraulic so pumping the brake will only tire your right leg. The parking brake will only release a small amount of air and would take a long time to bleed off the air suspension.
I find it convenient to press the "HYD" button twice as if to start the auto level. This will dump the air also. Press the "OFF" button before the HWH starts the auto level process.
