Technical Library on Android or iPhone

Got a new android phone. I installed a 64 gigabyte MicroSD card today, ($52 on Amazon, free shipping) then transferred my entire Enhanced Technical Library onto the card. Now I can
1) read all the accumulated PDFs for vehicle & system servicing direct on the phone.
2) transfer files by choosing the file & emailing it, bluetoothing it, etc. to another RV'er or to a service outfit, direct from the phone.

I choose: MyFiles app>extSdCard> and up comes a series of folders. Choose the folder you want to explore, down to the individual file. I'm sure iPhones have a similar approach. I copied about 2gb of files that I now have with me anytime I have the phone.
Woo Hoo!!

So anybody who has my Enhanced Technical Library on CD can do the same. All of HWH's service PDFs load perfectly, as does my 11 page Parts & Service Info Word doc. I actually did the copying using the SD card adapter that came w/the MicroSD card, plugged the Micro into the adapter, plugged adapter into my laptop's SD card slot, then Copy & Pasted the whole library in one batch; removed the adapter then the Micro, put the Micro into the phone, and Voila! Only glitch was that the android phone won't read email files of the type *.eml, so I eliminated those for clarity. There were only two out of the hundreds of data files, other files transferred & appear to be coming up flawlessly.

Good idea! I will do that, at least with my tablet if not the phone.

I assume most will already understand, but with what Mike is talking about doing, you can read all of those files even if you don't have any cell phone coverage. If you want to send it to somebody, then you will need to have cell phone coverage or wifi coverage, or be close enough to the person to use Bluetooth which is maybe 20 feet or so.

Obviously EngineerMike can now help us anytime anywhere since he carries his library with him!!!
