Hey Guys,
Took the screen doeor off to repair a torn screen...to save $$. In the process, I broke the tempered glass slide with the handle and the glass company tells me that it can't be replaced (other than with plexiglass) because it appears that the tempered glass was installed before the door was welded together. Seems like a crazy way to construct a door, and I wonder if anyone has had any experience in replacing the tempered glass slide???!!!

Thanks
cajunjohn

Mine shattered a few years ago....I think the repair facility called the door manufacturer, they no longer used glass. So they replaced mine with a plexiglass slide. Can't remember the cost.

Heading to Marksville, La for the weekend!
