I am very fortunate to be able to drive many different coaches. Country Coach Foretravel,National RV, Monico, Alpha, etc. That is how I came to Love the Alpine after just my first Drive. Now let me say I have taken many people on test drives. Experienced coach drivers I usally will have to have them sit on one hand as they are so use to the constant correcting of the steering wheel left right left right.........that the only way I can break it is to have them sit on one hand for a couple minutes to see how true it really steers. As until then I think people behind us think we've had a little too much to drink lol.
Once I had a couple test driving one and they were checking to see if it truly handle like I said it would, irratic lane changes quick stops etc. We pulled over so the wife could drive and a lady pulled in and pulled her car in front of us...rolled down her window and ask if all was ok...lol..she thought we were being hijacked. What a brave lady! Well today I had a couple in who has done many years of research on coaches and were convinced the Alpine was the coach they want. One catch they have never driven a class A.
Now on any other coach I don't believe I would of taken them out in a brand New one, but to show them just how confident I am with the handling of The Apline I said lets go. Well long story short both drove on the back roads and interstate, once they relaxed(from the intimadation of the size) they did great!!! So for all who have yet to drive an Alpine if you get the chance Drive one. You'll never want anything else. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK WRV!! WE LOVE TO DRIVE THE ALPINES!!! RON
