Hey Chet - we're going to be at Buckhorn for Labor Day weekend. We'll probably swing west for a while and then stop back by on our way east. Maybe we'll catch up with you then.

We met a couple from Kerrville last week in a 1999 (almost 2000) Alpine Coach. It was really cool to see that coach!

I know there are some other Texan Alpiners on this forum - hopefully they'll speak up.

By the way, fellow Texans, we are officially fulltimers as of yesterday - closed on our house - finally! We're heading out of Austin on Monday and wandering aimlessly for a while....

Audrey

Barb & I are both native Texans. We have been living in Durango, CO for 10 years and now have our house on the market and are about to become "Full Timers". We plan to winter at the Fredericksburg RV Park beginning in November. Our plans are relocate to the Hill Country of Texas.

We have a 2005 38FDTS with about 13,000 miles since the Hilton Head purchase. Hope to see all you Texans at Home Coming.

Hi Lana, we met last year in Kinder, La. Heading home from a 6 week business/vacation trip! Just turned 45K miles on our coach! I think we were the only Alpine in Sturgis, SD during the Harley Ralley!

Jean & Duwain Pingenot are just Plano Texans -- at least that is where we live (Plano, Texas) when we are not traveling in the RV, at our property in Missouri, or at a gig out of town.

We have really enjoyed meeting many of you at rallies and we hope to attend more in the future.

If you are near Seguin, TX on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 or New Braunfels, TX on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005 the Blasmusik Texas German Band will be performing. The gig on Sunday will be for the Wurstfest in New Braunfels. This is the largest Oktoberfest or German Festival in Texas.

Times and dates for this and other band performances that I play in are contained in the following web sites:
Blasmusik Texas - http://www.blasmusiktexas.com
Kleine Blasmusik - http://www.kleineblasmusik.org
Plano Community Band - http://www.planoband.com
Frontier Brigade Band - http://frontierbrigadeband.com
Heritage Brass Band - http://www.heritagebrassband.org

The Dallas Czech Concert Orchestra, Heritage Brass Swing Band and the Frohsinn Kapelle German Band do not have web sites at this time.

We would enjoy visiting with you if you can attend one of the performances. Let us know in advance and maybe we can meet at the same RV Park, State Park or Wal-Mart.
