Thread to replace cockpit tv?

I seem to recall a post by one of the members here about how he replaced the old tv above the windshield on a 2002 Apline with a flatscreen tv complete with photos, but I can't find it using a search. Can anybody come up with that thread? Thanks.

The "cabinet to cabinet" width of our TV opening is 36.5" and will accommodate this TV: Samsung smart TV: UN40J6200AFXZA

I have been working on the wiring for my A/V system and may be of assistance if you have specific questions. Depending on TV you choose, you will probably need to split the case and solder wires to interface with the DHS sound system. Here is the contact for information on interfacing with the DHS system:
