A couple are always on, they were replacements from when I put new tires on in 2006. The others I/C the ones on my car hauler report in after a few miles. I installed Smart Tire and the Silverleaf myself. So yes I used the motion activated units. The thinking at the time was it would extend battery life.

My concern is I am on year 6 and the batteries have to be getting weak. Every time I have had tire work done on the coach or the toad 1 or more sensors have been ruined. Les Schwab in Yakima ruined 2 on the coach when they put new tires on in 06. They replaced them for no charge though (thats where I got some always on sensors).

From my research the Pressure Pro can be tied into our Silverleaf Cl 400 and it also sends pressure and temp info.
