Tones, Alarms and Dash Sounds

When I turn my ignition key to the on position I get a buzzing sound as the gauges run through their check sequence. I have no jacks down alarm and I also have no audible click from the turn signals.

It is my understanding that I should be hearing these tones, buzzers, clicks and alarms. Is this correct?

I didn't think anything about not hearing the turn signals, the gauge check seemed normal to me and I just figured a PO had disconnected the jack alarm, they are annoying!

I am wondering if I have an issue or does this sound normal, except the jack alarm.

I am having a problem with my VMM and will be buying a new one. I swapped my good one in and it didn't seem to affect these items.

Is something amiss or is all this silence just my good fortune

Thanks, Terry
