Touch Up Paint

I have a few nicks and chips I'd like to touch up. Has anybody bought any premixed off the shelf touch up paint. I have the platinum paint scheme and I'm wondering if the colors were off the shelf so to speak or mixed for WRV specifically.

I just went to Car Quest and had them computer scan the paint. Then they prepared a spray can and a separate liquid can of paint that matched perfectly.

I think most large Auto stores can do that.

Terry I had the local paint shop mix some up and they did a pretty good job. The inner lip of the rear wheel fender well was in pretty bad shape. I took it down to the store and they matched it just about perfectly. They also were able to put it in a rattle can. It worked great.

Thanks guys,

I went to CARQUEST and they do matching and also put it in a rattle can. I picked up 3 colors. I was lucky that the HWH door has all 3 colors on it so it was easy to take in a sample for matching.

I haven't tried it yet but I'll post when I have some results.
