We increased our tire pressure to 110 lbs all the way around the coach. When these coaches are delivered from the factory they are only set at 90lbs.

Robbert,

110psi sounds like too much to me for the rear axle. You probably have 295/75R22.5 load range "H". 110 in the 295 will carry 24,020 lbs. Here is a link to air pressure for a stated load capacity.

Use the second link down if you have 11R22.5 and the third link if you have metric 295 ect.

I run 95 front(axle weight 10,300) and 85 in the rear( axle weight 16,500), but I know the exact weight of each wheel position also. Check out the weighing the coach thread for a link I've posted to Michelin. It has two good videos to watch.

Remember now that the weather has cooled air pressure has dropped in our tires and so has the load capacity. If you aren't checking air pressure everyday , check them now.

Just had a factory delivery of a 2005 40FDQS. Checked tire pressures w/digital gauge, found pressures set @ 106 - 109 PSI.

I agree with Tom and Patty. I had my 2004 36' FDDS weighed at all four corners at an RV safety course seminar and with my Toyo tires and full load the recommended pressure was 100 psi in front tires and 80 psi in rears. It is important to have all 4 corners weighed as the slides can make a 300 to 400 lb weight differential from side to side.
