Transmission Woes

Sounds like you have the same rig as mine.
I've only had it a year, put 10,000 miles on it before this tranny problem. I love the coach but don't like sitting on the side of the road. I am finding it difficult to get 'bona-fide' help. I don't want to pay someone to "go-to-school" on my coach and not even fix it. I am located in Central WA just 60 miles from where they USED to make the Alpine.

Have you tried Cummins Yakima? They service our coach and work on the tranny.

Its probably like hunting "snipe" to find it but there have been lots of threads on the forum about loose engine/tranny connections under the coach; and or loose wires inside those large multi-wire/multi-connector modules.

Yes.
Cumins spent several hours with it and then sent me to Mobile Fleet Service (MFS), down the street, in Yakima.
They all hook up their computers but no one really gets in there to find the problem. I'm having it towed to a repair facility. I'll post the results....

Sorry to hear of your problems. I usually use Cummins, but have found that their service is only as good as their assigned technician. If he can't find it, he punts. With one exception, I haven't seen them get help from a more qualified person or the manufacturer.

I did find a very good trucks electrician that was able to properly solve my exhaust brake's electrical issue, as well as a gremlin in the toad wiring. But, Long Beach, California is a bit of a trip for you. I'm certain a good electrician, with truck experience, could find it for you.
