TV lift: Linear Actuators

This may be in the wrong category, but us Alpine owners have similar interior layouts: I have ordered a TV lift from TV Lift Vector Motion.. I want to install a 46" LCD behind the passenger side couch. I have had our techs fabricate new mounts for the couch to move it forward 3" away from the wall. This would allow the TV to store behind the couch when not in use and still allow us to see out the window. However, when we want to use it, it can be raised up. I know this isn't any new technology, but I was wondering if anyone has seen this done in an Alpine. Any issues they may have had? Thank you

Good idea C&R it would work on most any coach plenty of room behind couch.
Most couch's can be moved out to accommodate the lift and re-bolted to floor.
Would need slack in cables for 110 outlet & TV coax for power for TV and lift in a slide location.

If this is a slide location, I'd wonder about the effect of the added weight to the slideout and how it affects balance and slide operation. But that's just me. I simply don't know.

The added weight on that slide would probably be a non issue. It has a robust mechanism
