Hello,

As many of you do, my living room/kitchen slide leaks water when the rain is blowing in from that side. I think I know what to do to stop this problem, but I need to know how the Cherry wood trrim on top of that slide has been installed. I cannot see any nail holes, or any apparent method of holding it in place. If I can get that removed without damaging it (so it can be reinstalled) I think I can stop that leaking slide. If my idea is good and stops the water coming in, I would share the remedy with all.

Second Question. It appears the switch on the dash for the engine brake has a light inside it, but that light never comes on, when either high or low EB operation is selected. Does anyone know if that switch has a light, if so, does anyone have the information on how to get it to work.

If not, then I want to change the switch to one with a bright light so I see it and know the EB is in operation. Thank you in advance for the info.

My EB switch does not light up except for the "lightning bolt" in the middle. It lights when the lights are on only. There is no light indication for low vs. high EB that I've seen. I've commented many times that this rocker switch in particular should have some indication of its position.

Let me know if you come up with a way to upgrade the rocker switch!

Old- if the EB switch has a light it is an LED and is variable using the dimmer by pulse-width-modulating 12V. So if you are looking for an indicator light, you will need to tap operational 12V side of the switch that activates the brake. IIWMI'd be thinking LED so as not to disrupt the signal to the brake which travels thru the engine's OEM connector on the ECM (engine's computer) to the Allison (so Allison can manage shift points accordingly) and then to the Jake Brake via two leads, one for the primary )low) bank of 3 cylinders, and another to the secondary bank that adds the other three cylinders to make a total of 6 cylinders into air compressors to effectuate engine drag.
