Update on hydraulics, smarTire, etc.

Ihave just finished talking to the tech at Holiday Kampers in Spartanburg. They have finished installing all of our hydraulics. There was a piston frozen on the slide, also. They were instructed to put a heat shield over the radiator. A post in Dec. 2004 said they thought heat shields would be placed on future coaches. Obviously, this was not the case. With knowing that this was a problem in 2004, I am surprised they these heat shields were not installed as a matter of course.

They are going to work on the SmarTire system tomorrow and Wednesday.

We are told HWH thinks our jack problems were related to leaking hydraulic lines and that we don't need 12K update. Sooo, we will try out the coach for a while and see what happenes. Perhaps this is the case.

A new faucet has been ordered (I had a leaky one)for the kitchen.

The step problem has not been sorted out, but if it needs new parts, they should be ordered today.

Since we basically only need the new faucet and the step fixed, we asked to get the coach the end of the week; so we can use it for a couple weeks, and then bring it back for the repairs.
Hopefully, there will not be anything new.
