Bud & Beverly, It is always an adventure when we go away with TV's. Last trip was our best. We had both working on the satellite, the front one on local channels as well and the rear on cable. This has been our biggest success story so far with TV's and I am not touching a thing.

Ted,

All we get is snow and lots of it. Haven't tried to play a DVD since this happened. Bud just wants to give up on the TV.

On the bright side, and much more importantly, my refrigerator seems to be working fine!

I'm still looking for a replacement LG LSS-3200A. Talked to LG again and they said to ship it to them in Alabama and I will get it back in 6-8 weeks! Of course it will be $100 + parts + shipping. I'd sure rather find another unit. I understand the Sony HD300 is basically the same unit.

What are my options? Apparently this is complicated by the fact that the Aquos TV is a 2 piece set-up...a monitor and a tuner. I would go for replacing both the Kenwood unit and the satellite receiver, but I don't want to also replace a perfectly good expensive LCD monitor to assemble a system that is compatible.
