Has anyone else had this problem: from time to time, the monitor just goes dark, nothing showing. This has been going on for some time now. Yesterday, in addition to going dark, a few time, it also got dark but still showed the view out the back, lots of flickering also.
I had the connections at the camera checked as well as the monitor itself. Does anyone know if/where there are other connectors between the camera and the monitor?
Thanks.

Had a similar problem but mine eventually went totaly dead. I had to trace the cable from the monitor back to the kick plate by the drivers left foot. There I found the point where the connections are made for the 12 volt supply as well as the reverse trigger voltage. The plug on the end of the extension coming from the monitor had pulled apart, all I had to do was push it back together and make sure the locking pin was engaged this time. Biggest job was finding this darn thing. Hope this helps.

I, too had that problem on my old Vectra. I'm now having a problem with the night vision part.

Yours sounds like a connection problem, as I thought mine was. After tracing all the wiring and connectors, I could not find a problem.

So, as I did before, I will take it to:

LTM Electronics
18242 Enterprise Lane
Huntington Beach, CA 92648

www.LTM1.com

Last time they rebuilt the circuit board, including 62 diodes and other thingies for $75. That camera still works (according to the new owners). LTM says that those cameras (the silicon) start "melting" after a few years and need to be rebuilt. It was cheap, I was happy. They like you to bring them the camera, not the coach.

JensenRVDirect - My jensen radio won't keep the satalite selection, when I try to tune into a channel, it just goes brank, and no sound comes out, the other functions work fine. Any ideas. It's not a deal killer, but since we have a sirius account for the toad, my though was to add this radio as well, so we could enjoy it in the coach heading down the road. Now, alpine might have not hooked up the antenna for it either. If it's not something simple, I will just hook up my portable radio I used in the pickup.

I purchased my new motorhome in April. I am on the 3rd Voyager monitor. For the past 2 trips, it intermittently goes black, with a skinny white line right up the middle. If I shut it off for a while, it will come back on.

Since I have gone through 3 monitors in less than 6 months, when I take it back to the dealer AGAIN, I am planning to ask they replace it with a different brand, or a different model, at the least. There's a problem with a faulty design, quality control, or dealer installation.

What model is the JENSEN radio? Can you access and listen to the SIRIUS preview channel (Ch. 184)? If not, you may not have the optional SIRIUS receiver and / or SIRIUS antenna installed with the radio. You may also contact us directly for more troubleshooting at (877) 845-8750. We are available M-F 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM EDT.

We look forward to hearing back from you.
