Have an 36 fT alpine. I notice a gap in the molding behind headboard, top left side facing head board. Upper right side is flushed with the horizontal molding. Upper left vertical molding has a gap about 1/2 inch away from the horizontal molding. The left return paneling has travel rearward on a angle (wider on top to almost flush on bottom) from the mirror side were the light switch is.
I need to pull the wall forward on the top and was wondering if anybody else had this problem. Also how is the headboard connected to the wall?

Hey Keith!

Welcome. Nice to see another Alpine in my neck of the woods (or the beach). Looks like you can get into Dockweiler. We loved going there since it was so close, and really enjoyed watching all the planes while parked up against the beach, but our new coach is too long for them. Oh well, there is always Bolsa Chica and Huntington Beach's Sunset RV park. Even though all are close, you can't beat parking at the beach.

I do not know what year your coach is. The 2002 coaches have one screw on the bottom of each corner behind the mattress. The entire parameter is held to the wall and mirrors with Velcro. The Velcro is very strong making it difficult to remove.

Gary, thank you very much for responding to my problem. would i be correct to believe that the mirrors are glued to the wall paneling and that the paneling is connected to a back wall of the coach. The side returns are they fasten with Velcro also? By the way my coach was built in Oct. 2001 and is a 01 model. Again thank you for your help.Keith

Keith, if your coach is a 2001 then it would have been manufactured in 2000. Ours was completed 8/1/01 with the designation of 2002 coach.

The mirrors are glued to the back wall. The back wall is made of ¾ inch plywood with plastic glued to the exterior for protection from the elements.
