Hi all,

It's actually kind of funny that I'd phoned and left a message for the Parts Dept. right about the day that everything was going downhill in Yakima. As you might suspect, nobody returned my message.

We don't get to too many dealers (Guaranty or Uhlmann's, etc.) and don't know if dealer might have the lanyards or if that was a factory item. Has anyone ever seen them at a dealership? Which one? I'll call and order if anyone knows where I might find them.

Thanks from a couple of happy Alpiners!

If you find a source for the lanyards please let me know. Would also like two.

Also love our Alpine. Just a shame that things have occurred they way they have with Western. We had been extremely happy with their service and especially their personnel.

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, you could get some from Guaranty, I think.

We belong to the Guaranty Travelers Club and have some lanyards that are about 3/4" wide and have a place on the end for a name badge.

You can have my ACA name tags if you want them, but I have no extra lanyards.

Jim,

I took your suggestion and called both Parts and Sales at Guaranty and at Uhlmanns. Neither had any lanyards or even mentioned that they had ever had any.

Lindsay Hargett, a helpful salesman at Guaranty, suggested I contact Kathy Nickelson who used to be on the ACA Board and used to do some "wearables". I talked to Kathy and she's no longer making any wearables at all for Alpine.

Thanks for the offer of the ACA name tags but we've already got those.

Joel & Mary: I'll keep you in mind if I ever do hear of any.

Cheers!

When I was a boy scout, up until they threw me out, we used to make lanyards. Maybe we should ask them?
