Wardrobe slide slides

The wardrobe slide on my 2003 slides out on its own. I had some valves and a hose replaced last year. The slide crept out very slowly ( weeks to come out an inch) during storage. Today, as I'm preparing for the first trip of the season it began creeping out an inch in 15 minutes. There is no sign of fluid leaking. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on how to fix the problem?

My 03--40ft doesnt have the wardrobe slide but the style of slides used by WRV, made by HWH, depend on reverse fluid pressure held in the cylinders to hold the slides in. If yours is creeping and you dont see any obvious hose leaks, then its likely the solenoid is leaking back. Dont recall if solenoids can be "field" cleaned but there are lots of threads on the forum about replacement with new or remanuf solenoids.....see: HWH Solenoid theard......

I believe you have an equalizing cylinder for that slide-out mounted on the wall of the battery compartment. Make sure you've checked it for leaks as well.

Thank you both. I cannot find any evidence of leaks anywhere. I'll try to get it in to my local RV fixit place when they open at 8:00. I'll share the information you have provided.

Outcome: Selenoid valves replaced at no charge. HWH warrants them for a year. No creeping over night! I was advised to carry dowel cut to fit between wall and lip of slide in case the slide creeps in the future.

FYI. I was informed that Western RV routed the hose for the wardrobe slide-out inside the engine compartment and over the radiator. When replacing it, it should be rerouted so it won't be damaged by heat.

Thanks again for the help.
