On our 05-06 34' I wanted to have the filter cartridges without the ro system and I didn't want to mount the filters in the basement.
My solution was to run an 1" aluminum strap around the sanitary bay so that I would have enough strength to hold the filters. I was able to mount them so that the access panel was still free to be taken off without removing the filters. The gauges register incoming and outgoing pressure so that I know when to change the cartridges and to give me accurate incoming water pressure reading. All parts were ordered from Vagabond Water.

Jerry, extremely well done. Might honestly consider doing the same to mine.

Can you explain exactly how you affixed the aluminum straps? Thanks

Rick,
I ran the strap along the rear wall and then bent the strap so that it extended on each side for 4-6 inches. The side walls are steel and gave me the strength I was looking for. I drilled two holes on each side and several along the rear wall and bolted the strap in place.
The vertical straps were bolted to the bracket and the roof of the compartment. This not only added strength but gave me the spot I needed for the guages.

Jerry, you indicated that you purchased everything from Frank @ Vagabond. Are you referncing the filters and gauges or the mounting brackets, etc. also?

Ted,
Everything came from Frank except for the aluminum strap and the bolts which came from a local hardware store. Probably took me 2-3 hours to do the install. I'm not the fastest guy on the block.
