After two years of dealing with sediment from the water heater blocking every faucet I just discovered the water heater was connected backwards. The cold in, which should be on the bottom, comes in on the top and the hot out is on the bottom of the tank. Switching the hot and cold so the hot out line is on the top and the cold in is on the bottom fixed the problem. I was always wondering why I had all this sediment in the lines when I change my anode and flush the tank every year.

I should have suspected this when I was correcting the reversed wires on the Echo Charger.

You must be referring to an Alpine Coach.

Big Jimbo why don't you go back and hang out in the Country Coach Forum. We Alpine owners are happy with our coaches and glad we kept them.

Jim, I don't know if you are aware of it, but we had a 2006 Apex for exactly one year and were very happy to trade it for a 2001 Country Coach. My comment on this thread was directed at the fact that almost everything on the Alpine Coach was either installed backwards or was not tightened when it was installed.

Glad you like yours, and glad I got rid of mine.
