is standard transmission and most any car that is standard transmission can be towed 4-down.

This information, while widely accepted, is not true.. Without checking a list, I'd say more standard shifts cannot ( should not ) be towed, than can be.. There are alot of folks that have towed cars "not on a list", but you risk $$$ doing so..Many Std Trannies have shafts and bearings that when "not turned from the front" ( input shaft turning) are above the lube level, and can run dry.. Check the owners manual...rgr...
