Hello all!

We posted a couple of weeks ago that we were looking for an Alpine and we found one and bought it. Thanks to you all for your thoughtful responses to our post, both on and off-forum.

Jim and MaryJo ... you're the 'winner' with your suggestion for a "transcontinental retrieval". We did in fact buy the one that was in Vermont and brought it home to California. It was a 7-day trip, with no stopping off for fun, and we just got home on August 9.

A couple of years of watching this forum and the posts by Alpine owners helped convince us that this was the coach for us. So, 'hats off' to you all for such a great forum. We hope to make it to some rallies soon and meet some of you there.

Cheers!

That's great!

I had communicated with the owner and thought that coach was a pretty good deal.

Welcome aboard.

Mike & Mike,

I add our welcome to all of the others here; our Alpine family is very glad to have you join us.

John and I hope to have the opportunity to meet you soon at one of our ACA or Alpine SoCal rallies. We have made so may good friends at these rallies, and it is wonderful to have a venue like this to see them again and again. The rallies are a fun time as well as a learning experience. As soon as you are hunkered down to look at something on your rig, you will draw a crowd of folks with lots of experience to help you solve your problem. Plus, the ACA rallies nearly always have a gearhead session to give you the chance to ask questions of professionals from the major vendors of WRV. Our rallies are definitely time well spent!

See you soon!

Mike and Mike,

I'd like to echo what Gail & John have said about the rallies. I just got back from Newport, had to go to work today. I have never been around so many people ready and willing to be friendly and helpful. This was our first rally and we really did not know what to expect. We left Newport yesterday feeling like we had gotten together with a bunch of old friends, though there was no one there we had ever seen before. This is a GREAT group of people.

Jeff, it was great meeting you and Cheryl. You have found a great group to "hang around" with with lots of experience and useful information not to mention just a fun group. Hope you can make more of the rallies and when we get through Olympia we may look you up. We left the Rally and headed to Portland, couldnt get into the front end alignment shop in Chehallis so we headed East to Lewiston/Clarkston and then onto the Yakima area, will be calling WRV to see if they can give us a direction for a shop in that area. After that, on to Vancouver Island before heading home down the coast.
