Weak Gen Slide Motor

I am still having trouble with my Gen slide. Takes about eleven seconds to extend and will often shut down upon retracting, as if binding etc. It draws about six amps max until it jumps to eight and quits. I have rewired straight to bus bar in dash with positive results until now. It seems the rollers are sealed and need no lubrication. They all turn. Would like ideas before I spend on a new motor. Have even thought of converting it to manuel operation.

My slide takes almost 20 seconds to open from closed to full open. It takes the same time to close from full open. I don't have a problem with the motor kicking out. Are you sure that the cross bar by the latch at the front is not bending causing a bind. If all the cam followers will rotate then it is a binding somewhere or the motor is going bad. You might be able to take the motor out and have it tested and if it's bad have it rebuilt.

I will check the latch bar for bending.
Thanks
