What are these?
There are two things mounted in the coach that I cannot find any reference to in the manuals I have. One is a round white sensor(?) of some kind located below the compartment door above the driver side window. There is another like it on the forward wall in the bedroom.
The other item is just to the right of the voltmeter mounted in the bedroom. It has the appearance of possibly another type of sensor; smaller, with a convex, clear center.
If anyone can identify these I would appreciate it.

A picture would help!
Wild guess: could they be temperature sensors for your roof AC Units thermostats?

I think we've identified two of the three. Post a picture of the third & it's location. Someone may be able to identify.

Could be a remote control sensor for the front tv equipment. It sends the remote control signal via a wire. I have a similar sensor in my bedroom just below the tv.
Mine is white plastic with a convex window. Sticks out like a sore thumb. That's my guess.

Thanks, Terry W. It would make sense. I wasn't able to post a picture because for some reason, I kept getting a message that the site could not access my pictures. Anyway, it's probably as you say. The item is only about a 1/2 inch diameter.
We've only owned this MH since last August and are still learning things all the time.

We're kinda in the same boat. I just bought mine in April and I'm still picking brains and trying to learn what I can. I just finished draining my trans and changing the filters this afternoon. I'll refill it tomorrow, it's cocktail time now!!

You're fortunate to be on the West Coast since there are many more Alpiners out there. It also seems that there are more resources available in that part of the country. I've joined the ACA and Alpine Coach East hoping to benefit from the knowledge of other owners. Already signed up for the ACE rally scheduled for September.

One of the disadvantages of being in So Cal is that we haven't seen what you would both consider rain for several years. That's why I reluctantly have to cut my maintenance hours short. I believe it's a scientific fact that, Vodka and tonic is the best way to re hydrate in the absence of pure fresh rain water. This isn't happy hour, it's just a more personal form of maintenance.
I am doing my best to stay hydrated, so I can perform my MH maintenance as prescribed and thereby doing my part to keep the hyways and byways free of the clutter broken down motorhomes.
I'm a giver, but, that's just me.

Terry; I spend my winters, 7 years now, at Parker Dam CA. so I know what the drought is doing , particularly on my trips back and forth on I-5, too dry for words there. I hope there is some relief for all the west coast, as our wild fire season is in full swing here in B.C., already 5X the acers burnt vs last year.
I can only hope for CA, that the drought doesn't, end as abruptly as it has in Texas, but I have been in L.A. for 4" of rain in 3 hours, during a trip for the Super Nationals in 1972. So , I've seen what can happen.
Stay safe and enjoy yourself.
P.S. I find Vodka with diet squirt more refreshing . Just finishing my second. Cheers.
