When I bought my coach two years ago, I was told it was a '98.It was manufactured in '98 and the title SAYS it's a '98. In speaking with Dave and Mark at WRV a few weeks ago, Dave mentioned that the serial # indicates it's a '99. I was at Uhlmann's RV about a month ago and the Sales Manager came over and made comment on how well maintained my '99 Alpine was. So... my question to all you other Alpiner's out there is "Which is it?"

Alpine does not seem to make many major changes all at once, if they do they call them Avalanches and Apex's so it's hard to tell model years.

It's nice for the older owners as our coaches still look current. 98-99 coaches are very hard to tell apart, the major change was when the new front cap and full body paint was introduced in 99. The way I tell if an Alpine is a 98 or later 99 is the full body paint.

Alpines seem to be an ever-evolving project. With occasional upgrades, it is easy to keep your Alpine up to date. There are even a non-slide 36' Alpine with air-cooled gensets out there!

However, the title is the determining factor.
