You're welcome. This is our first MH. Before that we had travel trailers. The MH is quite a bit more complicated than a TT. It was intimidating at first but if you apply yourself you can get comfortable with the operation and idiosyncrasies, some of which still baffle me. The Vansco for example was supposed to reduce wiring and therefore weight but it can be quirky. So far I've been able to reboot the system and restore proper operation. We love the layout, the large windows, the washer/dryer and dishwasher. I also like the Silverleaf for engine monitoring and systems operation. I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I've learned from my studies that Motor Homes like it best when they are traveling and are not fond of sitting in one place all summer. If you tend to stay in one spot for the summer, a travel trailer or fifth wheel might be a more suitable choice.
As far as being more expensive to fix, I really can't answer that. It seems to me that all MH have the same systems except for perhaps the Silverleaf an Vansco but both companies are still in business and these parts can be serviced.
