Where is the water source for the ice maker?

I have spliced the hose behind the side cover 3 times due to little pin holes in the water line that feeds the ice maker.
Where dose this line begin? is there a shut off valve like under the sink at home?
I know I need to find the origin of this line and replace the clear plastic tubing, but for now I need to shut it off.

Thanks,

Dan

Mine is at the top of the storage compartment below the fridge accessed from the outside. It is a self-tapping valve clamped to the water line. On mine they used the stainless wrapped line which is what I use at home and recommend.

Mine is in the utility bay behind the access door and above the drain valves.

Ditto Wil Rathke. Remove the fiberglass panel in the Utility Bay where the water and sewer hookups are. There will be a small shutoff valve for the ice maker water line in plain view once you remove the panel.

Mine is also an '04, and that is where mine is located. But I know of at least one coach where is was on the curb side of the storage tank compartment. Mine also suffered from pin hole leaks.

Thanks to all. I will remove the panel and have a look.
Should be fun to run a new line.

It's not bad running the new line. On my coach (as always, because WRV wasn't necessarily consistent from year to year or model to model, it may not be the same on your coach), you have to open the hatch door where the holding tanks are located (on the passenger side opposite the utility bay with the water & sewer hookups) to access the original line and then it is easy to replace the original line and feed it into the refrigerator compartment. If you haven't opened the holding tank hatch door, it is the same as the storage compartment doors but is held in place with two bolts through the bottom up into the floor to hold it in place. Just remove the bolts and it will open up just like the storage compartment doors.

Found it, thanks. At least I don't have to worry about that until I find time to run a new line.

Thanks to all!

Dan
